BioMy name is Aaron. I am twenty-five years old. I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am an Orthodox Christian. Three years ago I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Nevada Reno with my B.A. in philosophy and a minor in European history. Currently I am a Ph.D. student in philosophy at Rice University in Houston, Texas.
My philosophical interests include, but are not limited to, continental philosophy (particularly Kierkegaard, Heidegger, Sartre, Merleau-Ponty, Levinas, and Marion), bioethics, and philosophy of religion (the phenomenology of religious experience, to be precise).
I am currently preparing for my qualifying exams. I plan to write my dissertation as a Kierkegaardian critique of natural law approaches to religious ethics.
Despite my academic interest in professional philosophy, I often feel as though I would probably be better suited to being either a hermit or a contestant on Jeopardy!.

Besides that there isn't very much about me that I would call interesting since I am not a hipster or anything quite so tragic as that, but I do have interests such as those listed below, but hardly any of this manages to adequately capture my facticity; though could any thing?
